We, SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH, Möllensdorfer Straße 13 in 06886 Lutherstadt Wittenberg (hereinafter referred to as SKW Piesteritz), take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process personal data, which is collected when visiting our websites, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Your data will not be published by us or passed on to third parties. We will explain in the following sections which data we collect during your visit to our websites, exactly how this data is used and which rights you have as an affected person. This data protection declaration applies to all websites for which SKW Piesteritz is responsible. Our websites can contain links to the websites of other service providers. We would like to point out that this data protection declaration applies exclusively to the websites of the companies and trademarks which belong to SKW Piesteritz. As a matter of principle we only process personal data of our users as far as it is required for the provision of a functioning website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users only takes place with the consent of the user. An exception applies in such cases in which obtaining consent in advance is not possible for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal provisions.

Should you want to contact us by email, we would like to point out that outside the influence of SKW Piesteritz it cannot be ruled out that the content of unencrypted emails can be viewed by third parties. Therefore we recommend sending confidential information encrypted or by post.

For every visit to our website our system collects automated data and information from the computer system of the visiting computer.

In the process the following data can be collected:

• IP address of the requesting computer 
• Date and time of access 
• Name and URL of the retrieved file 
• Data volume transferred 
• Message about whether the request was successful 
• Identification data of the browser and operating system used 
• Website from which the access takes place

The data will also be stored in the log files of our system. Storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place. The legal basis and purposes of this use of data result from Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation. Our legitimate interests in the use of the named personal data are to enable the use of the website (establishment of connection), system security, the technical administration of the network infrastructure and the optimisation of the website. The IP address shall only be evaluated in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure of SKW Piesteritz or for other data security reasons. Personal user profiles shall not be created. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of its collection. In the event of the collection of the data for the provision of the website this is the case when the respective session has ended. In the event of the storage of the data in log files this is the case at the latest after seven days.

Our website uses Cookies. Cookies are text files which are stored in the internet browser or by the internet browser on the computer system of the user. If a user visits a website, a Cookie can be stored on the operating system of the user. This Cookie contains a character string, which enables a clear identification of the browser when the website is visited again. We use Cookies in order to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website make it necessary for the visiting browser to also be identified after switching to another website. The legal basis of the processing of Session Cookies is Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation. The legitimate interest in the storage of Cookies is in the technically faultless and optimised provision of our website. The user data collected by technically required Cookies shall not be used for the creation of user profiles. Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo.

With the help of Matomo we are able to collect and analyze data about the use of our website by the
website visitors and to analyze it. This allows us to find out, among other things, when which page
page views were made and from which region you come. We also collect various
log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browser used and operating systems) and can measure whether
our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

We only activate this tool if you have given us your consent to do so, this forms the legal basis
according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent allows the storage of cookies
or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG.
The consent can be revoked at any time.
 

IP Anonymization
We use IP anonymization for the analysis with Matomo. Your IP address is shortened before the
analysis, so that it can no longer be clearly assigned to you.

We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, which are located in Germany, so that all analysis data remains with us and is not passed on to third parties.

On our website we use components (videos) of the company YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Here we use the option “- extended data protection mode -” which is provided by YouTube. When you visit a site, which has an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established and in the process the content will be shown via a notification on your browser on the website. According to the information provided by YouTube, in “- extended data protection mode -” data is only transferred to the YouTube server, in particular which of our websites you have visited, when you watch the video. If you are logged into YouTube, this information will be assigned to your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. On our website we use components of the service provider facebook.com. Facebook is a service of facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Every single visit to our website, which is equipped with such a component, leads the component to cause the browser used by you to download a corresponding representation of the components of Facebook. Through this process Facebook is informed which specific page of our website is currently being visited by you. If you visit our website and are logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook recognises, through the information collected by the component, which specific page you are visiting and assigns this information to your personal account on Facebook. If you click, for example, the “like” button or post comments, this information will be transferred to your personal user account on Facebook where it is stored. Furthermore the information that you have visited our website is passed on to Facebook. This happens independently of whether or not you click on the component. Contact forms are available on our websites, which can be used for establishing contact electronically. If you take advantage of this opportunity, the data entered in the form will be transferred to us and stored. At the moment of sending the message, the IP address of the user as well as the date and time of the registration will also be stored. For the processing of data as part of the sending process your consent will be obtained and you will be referred to this data protection declaration. The legal basis for the processing of the data is, with the existence of consent of the user, Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR. Inquiries to the futurea Science Center are forwarded to the operator of the center, the Securitas Fire Control + Service GmbH & Co KG. The purpose of the transfer is to plan your visit to the Futurea Science Center. After completion of the preparation and follow-up of your visit, the data will be deleted. If you contact us via the email address provided, the legal basis for the processing of the data is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR. If the email contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR. The processing of personal data from the contact form solely assists us in the processing of the establishment of contact. In the event of establishing contact via email the required legitimate interest in this matter is also the processing of the data. The other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent abuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of its collection. With regard to the personal data from the input field of the contact form and the data sent by email, this is subsequently the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended, e.g. because the requested issue has been definitively resolved.

On our websites there is the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter free of charge. In the process your email address, IP address of the visiting computer as well as date and time of the registration will be transferred to us. For the processing of the data as part of the registration process your consent will be obtained and you will be referred to this data protection declaration. The legal basis for the processing of the data following subscription to the newsletter by the user is, with the existence consent of the user, Art. 6 Paragraph 1 letter a of the GDPR. The collection of the email address of the user helps to send the newsletter. The data shall be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of its collection. The email address of the user shall therefore be stored for as long as the subscription of the newsletter is active. The subscription of the newsletter can be cancelled by the affected user at any time. For this purpose there is a corresponding link in each newsletter. 

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you agree with the owner of the e-mail address you have given us and with the receipt of the newsletter. 

To ensure that the newsletter is sent to us, we use the double-opt-in procedure. In the course of this, the potential recipient can be included in a distribution list. Afterwards, the user receives a confirmation e-mail to confirm the application legally. Only when the confirmation is made, the address is actively included in the distributor. 

We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information and offers.

As Newsletter Software Newsletter2Go is used. Your data will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH. Newsletter2Go is prohibited from selling and using your data for purposes other than sending newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a German, certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act.

Any use of your personal data takes place only for the purposes named and to the required extent for the achievement of these purposes. For our internal administrative purposes it can be necessary to pass on the collected data within the corporate group in compliance with data protection regulations. Transfers of personal data to government institutions and authorities only takes place in accordance with legal provisions or if the passing on is required in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure for legal or criminal prosecution. Any service providers who are used as part of the handling of tasks only receive the data necessary for the fulfilment of their tasks and are obliged to maintain confidentiality as are our own employees. Transfer to other bodies (third parties) only takes place provided it is permitted by law. Furthermore your data shall not be passed on to third parties.

SKW Piesteritz uses appropriate technical and organisational security measures in order to protect personal data which is administered by us against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures shall be continually improved in accordance with technological developments. 

This data protection declaration applies exclusively to our own website. The websites in the overall internet presence can contain links to the websites of third parties. Our data protection declaration does not cover these websites. We do not have any influence on the handling of your data on the websites of third parties and do not check that other service providers observe the applicable data protection regulations. When you leave our website, it is recommended that you carefully read the data protection guidelines of each website which collects personal data.
